Seattle Couples Photographer

As a Seattle Couples photographer, I’ve explored endless adventurous locations for photo sessions. From the urban streets of the city to the vast beaches of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle has it all! But when Emily and Ransom told me they wanted to explore Queen Anne in Seattle, I knew exactly where to take them for the session of their dreams: Kerry Park, Parsons Garden, and Marshall Park!

Queen Anne, named after the style of homes found in the area; boasts culture, historic homes, many official Seattle landmarks, and entertainment. I first discovered Queen Anne when I visited the area in the Spring of 2021. I knew right away that I had to bring a gorgeous couple and my camera here ASAP! And this scenic viewpoint spot, especially in the Spring, was the perfect backdrop for Emily and Ransom’s love story!

The breathtaking views of The Seattle Space Needle gave the whole session a romantic feel during sunset, and the warm evening air added a sprinkle of hope. Spring rain can often drag on, so the warm, dry evenings are filled with Seattleites outdoors adventuring and soaking up the sun.  While I’m sure Emily and Ransom could take incredible photos at Kinnear Park or Rachels Park in Seattle, a setting like this one sure didn’t hurt!

I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location. I always advise couples to look up images of their session location beforehand to ensure perfect color choices, and these two definitely chose wisely! Emily’s navy-blue dress popped perfectly against the Seattle Skyline, and Ransom’s detailed blue button-down shirt beautifully completed the look!

Finding the perfect spot to take a couple’s photos isn’t always easy, but you better believe I’ll be returning to Kerry Park in Seattle over and over again! Many thanks, to Emily & Ransom for choosing me to capture some special moments while I was traveling to the area, and I can’t wait for our next session when I come to visit again!
