Hi, I'm jenn.

Me in a nutshell... Wife, Dog Mom, and Railroaders wife.

In Detail... I am from the PNW, born and raised (most of my life anyways) and a transplant to Montana. I've officially been here 16 years, so I like to call myself a native. Aside from photography, I am a nurse full time. Photography was a hobby turned small business, and a steadily growing passion that I can't let go of.

On Friday nights you'll find me cozied up on the couch editing your sessions. I love watching and rewatching Friends and Gilmore Girls on Netflix. I binge watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Grey's Anatomy, and A Million Little things during their prime seasons. I also love dogs, specifically rescues and Australia Shepards. We have 3 rescue pups... call me crazy, but the more the merrier?

My guilty pleasures include Sweet Peaks ice cream, re-runs of Sex and the City, Montana Autumns, cold lakes on hot summer days, and being on top of a Mountain.

Our own kind of family ♥

Meet my husband, Dana. He's a railroader for BNSF, an engineer. He "drives" the train. I often tell clients this when I take them near West Glacier, the tracks go right by my favorite location to photograph at. I have been photographing there before when my husband has taken a train through, its fun to wave even though I know he won't see me.

Our children (dogs) include; Tucker, a blondie. He also goes by Turkey, Tuckey Wuckey, and Bubba. He's our 5 year old, we've had him since he was a puppy. He's well versed in his commands and is the fun police at the dog park. Bailey is the red head. She goes by Bailey-girl. She's going on 11 this year and was Dana's dog before he met me. She's the sweetest soul you'll ever meet, and excellent with kids. She is serial leaner and can knock you over with love. Our newest pup, Smokey is a real heart breaker. I swear we get lucky with shelter dogs. I believe he's a mix of husky (stubborn as hell) and cattle dog . He's sure grown on us, and the other dogs.

Traveling... makes my heart happy.

I always joke with people, "Can you pack me in your suitcase when you go?"

I would travel 24/7 if I could. Obviously work doesn't permit that, but I love to see and do. I am a born traveler. Some of the places I hope to see one day include:

  • New York
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • North Carolina
  • Switzerland

Traveling with friends in Canada. Peyto Lake, Alberta Canada.

Landscape Photography

My love for photography actually developed from landscape photography. Long before I ever started making people pose, I had a passion for capturing the places and spaces we live and travel to. I try to photograph every time the Northern Lights are out, and invite others to join. I do sell prints of my landscape photography if you ever desire to put some on your walls.
