“Our Elopement experience with Jenn was an experience we will never forget.

Jenn made our special day super smooth and stress-free, especially when we weren’t familiar with Montana at all, being from Wisconsin. We first reached out to Jenn back at the end of January 2024, and from then on, the planning process was seamless. We had several video calls and filled out multiple questionnaires so Jenn could get to know us better. She provided us with so much helpful information and recommendations for our elopement, from suggesting the perfect ceremony site to offering activity and meal ideas for the rest of our time spent in Montana. We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Jenn, and I will wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is thinking about eloping.”

“If I could do it all again, I would book her with no hesitation.

Jenn was great at keeping us up to date with GNP and offering recommendations. She handled nearly EVERYTHING. Bouquets, cake, timeline, etc. With us not having visited Montana before, she made this process stress-free. One thing I really appreciate about Jenn, is the respect she has for Glacier National Park. She really lives by ‘Leave No Trace.’ We are so thankful to her for capturing our day in the most beautiful way.” —Erin Kavanagh

“Thank you for making our elopement the best day ever.

Jen is SO AWESOME! She photographed our June elopement in Glacier National Park and made the entire process so easy/laidback. On our elopement day, she met us on the way into the park and stopped at multiple spots for pictures, even on the side of the highway as we were leaving, when the sunset created the PERFECT pink sky above the mountaintops. She is great at highlighting the natural beauty of the scenery. We got pictures of the mountains and the wildlife back in our elopement photos, which we appreciate so much, as a way for us to be able to enjoy our time in the park for years.” —Rachel + Nathan

I. Inquire and connect

To allow us the most time to plan and execute your special day, I recommend reaching out to me about 9-14 months before your planned date. Share your vision with me along with any details I should know—I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours to let you know if I’m available! From there, we’ll hop on a video call, because building a connection with you from the beginning is always my biggest priority.

II. Secure your date

When we’ve collectively decided that we’re a match made in the starry Montana skies—and nailed down your date—it’s time to make things official! I’ll send over a contract for you to review and sign, along with an invoice where you’ll pay your 50% non-refundable retainer. This saves your date on my calendar, and ensures that nobody else can snag it: from here on out, I’m fully committed to YOU and you alone that day!

III. pLAN YOUR CELEBRATION

Let’s get to the fun stuff, shall we? Once you’ve booked me, my virtual door is always open. I’m here to help you select the ideal ceremony location, time of day, and share my Glacier National Park expertise! If you’re traveling in from out of town, I’ll even share my favorite local hotels, restaurants, and more to make sure you have an unforgettable trip before and after your special day.

IV. Embrace the adventure

Leading up to your elopement or wedding, I’ll check in to ensure you’re feeling confident and ready to go, and to answer any final questions you have. This way, you’ll show up on your day filled with nothing but excitement and joy! Together, we will explore your location and maybe even visit a few stunning sites known only to locals. You’ll even get to sneak a peek at the back of the camera as we go to see how amazing you look!

V. Relive the magic all over again!

The moment I get home from your elopement or wedding, I’ll back up your images in multiple places for safekeeping. Within the week, you’ll receive a curated sneak peek gallery to obsess over, send to all your friends, and share with the world! These will hold you over until I send you your final gallery within 6-8 weeks of your big day, and you can finally relive your once-in-a-lifetime adventure. From there, you can easily save, download, and share images with all your loved ones who are dying to get in on all the love.

Throughout our partnership, we’ll be deeply committed to preserving these wild spaces through practicing Leave No Trace principles at every step (literally)!

In addition to my care for the rugged Montana wilderness I’m lucky to call home, I am also proud to be an LGBTQ+ inclusive photographer who celebrates love in all its forms. Your story deserves to be documented in a way that is beautiful, sustainable, and uniquely yours, no matter who you love!

Glacier Elopement & Wedding Package FAQs

Do you help with permits for the ceremony?

Absolutely. While you are responsible for submitting and paying for the permit, I’ll guide you through the process, help you understand which permit is required based on your location, and share resources and reminders so nothing gets missed.

What if we're not photogenic or we're awkward in photos?

I’m all about natural prompting, so I’ll make you feel and look your best WITHOUT strict, stiff posing! Trust me—I’ll give you easy cues that feel like a breeze, all while getting the most flattering angles for all bodies.

What if it rains (or worse) on our elopement day?

The answer is simple: we plan for it! I’ll bring clear umbrellas, and I will have alternate spots in mind with natural tree cover/wind blocks. And honestly? Moody clouds make for incredibly rich, cinematic photos. Foggy mornings, rough waters, windswept hair. . . ugh, my favorite.

Now if conditions become unsafe (lightning, wildfire smoke, road closures), we’ll pivot timing or choose a nearby backup within park guidelines. Plan A is stunning, but Plan B is, too!

What if we’re not hikers, or we have guests who need easily-accessible locations?

Don’t worry! Many of the most jaw-dropping locations require minimal walking and have easy access. The majority of locations in Glacier can be reached by car and require less than a 2-minute walk to the destination. Plus, we're in no rush—we can always take a break whenever you need. Glacier also has some wheelchair-accessible locations for guests (or couples) who require them.

Do you give sneak peeks?

Yes! I aim to provide 10-30 images to clients within 1 week of their elopement/wedding day.

How many images will we receive in our gallery?

All elopement/wedding days look different. The number of final images can vary heavily based on travel, activities, weather, etc. I will always do my best to capture the story of your day. Most couple can expect an average of 75 photos for 2 hours of coverage; 150 photos for 4 hours of coverage; 250 photos for 8 hours of coverage; and 400 photos for 12 hours of coverage.

How do you back up our images?

I photograph your day on two cameras, each of which saves your photos to two different cards. When I get home, I back up your images on 2 separate hard drives AND keep them on SD cards until delivery. Your images are safely stored on 3 sources and stored in a fireproof safe before they are delivered

How can we prepare for our Glacier National Park elopement/wedding?

Purchase a Glacier National Park Entrance Pass (recreation.gov). These are $35/week or $70/year. You will need one for every vehicle. If you plan to travel to another National Park or back to Glacier within the year, purchase the America The Beautiful Interagency Pass instead, as these are $80/year and get you into all of the national parks for one fee.

Do you include an officiant in your pricing?

Officiants are not built into my pricing, but I will gladly provide recommendations and point you in the direction of amazing officiants that hold the most beautiful ceremonies.
